Administrative Assistant - P/T

Part-time | Evenings 5pm – 9pm

Brentwood, NY

Salary: $19 To $22 /hr

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide information regarding services, conducting phone screening, recording information in the intake book. Interacting with referral sources, clients and staff in a professional, ethical and caring manner.
  • Answer/screen incoming phone calls; welcoming and screening visitors; maintaining reception area appearance; maintaining knowledge of staff schedules.
  • Conduct pre-intake telephone screening, scheduling intake appointments and recording relevant intake information in the intake log.
  • Collect client fees, issuing receipts and recording information in the computer. Collecting all Medicaid client cards on a daily basis and swiping card using Medicaid machine.
  • Input all daily client activity and client demographic information in the computer.
  • Monitor: Caseload updates, clinic appointment books, toxicology client roster, etc.
  • Schedule medical, psychiatric and intake appointments for clients

What you need:

  • Bilingual in Spanish Preferred
  • Must be amenable to hours.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of administrative work; substance abuse or allied health background would be great.
