Position: Ansible Developer
Location: McLean, VA (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ Month
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, manage, and optimize Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, and handlers.
• Work with Jenkins pipelines (declarative/scripted) to trigger Ansible automation tasks.
• Integrate Ansible automation with platforms such as ServiceNow and SharePoint.
• Reverse engineer and migrate existing scripts into standardized Ansible automation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Ansible-based automated solutions.
• Utilize Bitbucket or other Git-based source control systems to manage infrastructure as code.
• Operate in and support Linux-based environments.
Automate infrastructure operations, including provisioning, patching, service management, and compliance tasks.
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with Ansible (roles, playbooks, inventories, conditionals, handlers).
Proven experience with Jenkins pipelines and integration with Ansible.
Proficiency with Bitbucket or other Git-based version control systems.
Familiarity with ServiceNow and SharePoint integration using Ansible.
Strong scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience converting legacy/manual automation scripts into Ansible.
Ability to understand and automate customer-specific requirements,
• Solid experience in Linux environments.
