Reveal Design Group is an award winning lighting design firm specializing in boutique hospitality, restaurant, retail, sports facility, & high end residential projects seeking a full time Architectural Lighting Designer. We are seeking talented applicants to join our design team with managing several projects at various stages of design and of varying scales, redlining initial layouts, leading client meetings, producing CAD and Revit drawings, schematic presentation packages, visual research, mock-up tests of lighting details, and general project work. This is an opportunity for a candidate who is interested in being a leader within a company contributing to distinguished architectural projects.
Skills:
• 1- 3 years experience in Lighting
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu, Adobe InDesign, and Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Assist Senior Designers through all phases of design with thorough understanding of lighting details, budget
• Sketching and model building skills are a plus
• Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
• Must have excellent organizational skills
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience with Lighting Controls (Theatrical or Architectural) preferred
• Degree in Architectural Lighting, Theatrical Design, Interior Design, or related studies preferred
We are centrally located in Chelsea with a project list that extends throughout the United States and overseas. Benefits are provided, including 401K, 20 days of PTO (Paid Vacation and Sick days combined), Summer Fridays, and subsidized Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, & Vision Insurance. Salary is commensurate with experience within the range of $60,000 to $68,000. Candidate must be passionate about design and eager to learn in a creative environment.
