Our Juniors division, Dear Moon, is rapidly expanding, and we’re looking for a passionate, creative, and detail-oriented Assistant Fashion Designer for Club to join our dynamic design team.

Position Summary:

As the Associate Fashion Designer for our Juniors line, you will assist in the design and development of our trend-driven, youthful dress collections. You will work closely with the Senior Designer, Merchandising, and Production teams to bring fresh, fun, and fashionable looks to life for our growing tween and junior customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design process from concept to final sample for the Juniors line
• Assist in creating seasonal trend boards, color stories, and mood inspiration
• Sketch designs by hand and/or using CAD tools (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Select and develop prints, patterns, trims, and fabrications suited for Juniors Club dresses
• Partner with technical design to ensure fit and quality standards are met
• Track sample development and manage design documentation (tech packs, line sheets, etc.)
• Stay current on market trends, competitive analysis, and customer preferences
• Participate in fittings and design meetings to ensure vision is executed accurately
• Maintain organization of samples, swatches, and design files

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field
• 1–2 years of fashion design experience, preferably in Juniors Club apparel
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop); knowledge of PLM systems a plus
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and fabric
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Passion for juniors’ fashion, trends, and the youthful apparel market
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
