About the Role

The Fleet Maintenance Trainer works directly with the Fleet Maintenance team to provide support and training for new hires and ongoing learning initiatives. The role focuses on delivering technical training for vehicle technicians and material coordinators, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills to maintain and repair vehicles effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Program Execution: Deliver training for new hires and ongoing learning initiatives, ensuring that the Fleet Maintenance Team can diagnose and repair AV vehicles to company standards.
  • Ongoing Learning: Facilitate continuous learning and upskilling opportunities for technicians and material coordinators.
  • Training Needs Assessment: Work with the Lead Instructor and site leadership to identify skill gaps and training needs.
  • Program Management: Take ownership of the vehicle technician training program.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years in AV or technical fields, combined with teaching or coaching experience.
  • Training Expertise: Strong experience in developing and delivering technical training programs, particularly in AV-related fields.
  • Operations Support: Experience working directly with operations teams, with a focus on training and performance improvement.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, and travel to support sites.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills.
