Bill of Material Clerk
This position is ONSITE in Horse Cave, KY
This is a contract-to-perm position
Seeking a detail-oriented BOM Maintenance Specialist to support Plant Finance Manager in their Horse Cave, KY location in manufacturing operations across multiple sites. This role will focus on maintaining accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), scrap rates, activity rates, and related production data to ensure smooth operations and compliance with company standards. The position is temporary for six months, with the potential to convert to a full-time role based on performance and business needs. Does have potential to go permanent based on performance!
Location: Will be assisting multiple sites ( 25% Travel Required)
Duration: 6 Months ( Potential Full-Time Conversion)

Key Responsibilities:
• BOM Maintenance: Set up new BOMs, process changes, and manage deletions.
• Scrap Rate Management: Maintain and update scrap rates to reflect accurate production data.
• Activity Rates (Routers): Ensure activity rates are current and aligned with operational requirements.
• Destruction Keying: Accurately record and key destructions in the system.
• Material Run-Out Tracking: Maintain and monitor material run-out trackers to prevent production delays.
• Cross-Site Collaboration: Travel to multiple sites as needed to learn processes and ensure consistency in BOM-related activities.
• Project/Change Meetings: Attend meetings related to new projects, product launches, and BOM changes, providing input and updates as required.
Qualifications:
• Experience in manufacturing operations, BOM management, or production data maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites for training and process alignment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
