Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of trucks and equipment.

Duties:

• Operate various types of trucks including flatbeds, dump trucks, tankers, and roll-off trucks.
• Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all deliveries are made on time while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and cargo transported.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status.
• Handle manual transmission vehicles as required.
• Perform basic maintenance on vehicles as needed.

Experience:

• Proven experience in truck driving is essential; familiarity with various truck types is a plus.
• Experience operating forklifts is desirable for loading and unloading tasks.
• A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
• Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps for efficient route planning.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations related to transportation and cargo handling.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous.
