Medical Assistants support clinic flow and provider care for diverse patients (infants to geriatrics) via collaborative tasks per Minnesota nursing/medical board guidelines, and direction from supervisors/providers. They communicate team updates and handle clinical/clerical duties like rooming, immunizations, injections, labs, phlebotomy, x-rays (if certified), phone support, refills, front desk, supplies, and prior auths.
