Medium size law firm seeking a team member to coordinate and manage new client contacts and intake. This position requires a combination of marketing and administrative skills. The successful candidate will take incoming calls from potential new clients, answer questions regarding firm services and coordinate connecting new clients with the correct paralegal or attorney. The position requires maturity, accuracy and excellent people skills as well as the ability to clearly and professionally communicate by phone and e mail. You will be the interface between the firm and new clients so your interaction with new clients must be professional while also being empathetic to their situation. People call law firms because they have a problem they need solved and the successful candidate needs be able to instill confidence that the firm can help them resolve their issue or refer them to someone who can. You will be sending out intake documentation and following up to make sure it is returned. Other duties will include assisting paralegals and attorneys with property, heir and asset searches. Be prepared to handle what ever is needed. “Not my job” is not a term used in this firm. You should be proficient with the Outlook e mail system, Adobe and MS365. Bonus points for paralegal training, prior law office experience and bi lingual.
