Estimator – Bridgeville, PA

Lunova Group is partnering with our client to recruit an Estimator for their team in Bridgeville, PA. Our client is a female-owned and operated General Contractor with a strong track record in the Pittsburgh construction market. They specialize in a diverse portfolio of commercial work, including historic renovations, K-12 and higher education facilities, healthcare, and public infrastructure projects. As the company continues to grow and modernize, they’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Estimator to help lead the successful execution of both current and upcoming local projects. This role is based out of their Bridgeville office, with travel to nearby job sites as needed.

Why Join the Team?

You’ll be joining a family-focused, well-established construction company that truly values work-life balance and long term career growth. Known for their strong regional reputation and steady pipeline of high-impact projects, they offer the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work alongside a close-knit, experienced team.

About the Role

As an Estimator, you will play a central role in evaluating and preparing detailed, full-scope cost estimates for a variety of commercial and light industrial projects. You’ll analyze plans and specifications, collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensure that estimates are accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with project and company goals. This is a hands-on, analytical role where autonomy, attention to detail, and broad estimating experience are essential.

Estimator Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze project scope, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate, comprehensive cost estimates.
  • Perform full-scope estimating across multiple divisions; conduct detailed takeoffs and quantity assessments.
  • Evaluate project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, value engineering, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure bid accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, bid proposals, and supporting documentation.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project conditions.
  • Manage multiple estimates concurrently while maintaining clear communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of the estimating process and operate with minimal supervision.

Estimator Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent technical training/experience preferred.
  • Well-rounded estimating experience, ideally with a General Contractor; ability to estimate across multiple divisions is essential.
  • Experience with concrete or sitework/earthwork estimating is preferred but not required.
  • Background in commercial or light industrial construction required.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
