Camber Property Group (Camber) is looking for one (1) paid intern to work on the preservation and renovation of Linden Plaza, a 1,527 unit Mitchell Lama property in Brooklyn under the guidance of the [Development Asset Manager]. This internship is open to high school graduates and undergraduate college students with interest in residential property management, with a particular focus on affordable housing properties. The intern is expected to juggle a variety of projects and deadlines and must be comfortable working independently and as a part of a team.

The internship will last 10 to 12 weeks, beginning at the end of June 2025, with the potential to continue through Fall 2025 and possible full-time employment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The intern is expected to support the Development and Property Management teams in a variety of projects as part of the renovation and rehabilitation of Linden Plaza. The intern must exhibit proficiency in written and verbal forms of communication, including Microsoft Outlook and Teams. They should have familiarity with Excel. Specific duties will vary, but potential tasks will include:

· Performing visual safety inspections of the Linden Plaza buildings, parking structures and campus.

· Performing visual inspections of units as part of the resident move-in and move-out process.

· Supporting the Development and Property Management teams in tracking maintenance and construction progress.

· Collaborate with property managers to track DOB, ECB, FDNY, and HPD violations.

Essential Functions:

· Ability to meet deadlines

· Ability to communicate work progress, ask clarifying questions to understand the full scope of the assignments

Computer Skills

· Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word and Teams

· Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Position Qualifications

· High school diploma

· Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree

· Interest in pursuing a degree or career in Property Management, Real Estate, or other relevant field

· Attention to detail, organizational skills, willingness to learn

· Punctuality and reliability

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

· Full-Time [Monday-Friday, 40 hours] candidates preferred

Travel & Work Environment

· This position operates primarily in an office environment but requires occasional travel within the metro New York City area

· This is a largely sedentary role. The employee is occasionally required to push and pull items weighing 15 pounds or less.

· The position requires the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
