Director of Nursing- Ambulatory Medical Group

Starting Salary: $107,000 - $152,000/yr

Requirements to apply:

  • Current and valid RN license in Wisconsin or Michigan, or a compact license
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution is required.
  • Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required — or must be enrolled with a plan to complete within three years of hire.
  • Nursing leadership certification strongly preferred.
  • At least five years of healthcare experience, with clinic experience considered a plus.
  • Minimum of five years in progressive leadership or management roles required.

Job Overview:

This newly created leadership role is designed to unify and elevate nursing practice across a diverse network of 125 clinics and 54 specialties. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Ambulatory Services and President of the Medical Group, the Director of Nursing will lead efforts to standardize care delivery, improve patient experience, and optimize workforce development. The position calls for a strategic, collaborative leader with a strong background in clinical operations, patient safety, and change management. With no current direct reports, the role provides a unique opportunity to build a program and influence practice at scale, while playing a key role in initiatives such as falls prevention, primary care transformation, and the launch of a new Ambulatory Surgery Center.

  • Implement standardized best practices and workflows across specialties.
  • Contribute to the successful opening and operations of a new Ambulatory Surgery Center.
