Job Description

Global womenswear and streetwear brand, Naked Wardrobe is seeking a talented Director of Production to lead and manage the end-to-end production lifecycle. This role will oversee the production department and work cross-functionally with design, product development, and logistics to ensure the efficient, on-time, and cost-effective delivery of high-volume SKUs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction to the production
• Set clear goals aligned with company objectives
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team
• Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Oversee all aspects of production including fabric, trim, cutting, sewing, and finishing
• Manage vendor relationships across domestic and overseas factories
• Ensure production timelines are met and quality standards maintained
• Implement and maintain quality control measures at every stage
• Coordinate with Shipping to align production with distribution schedules
• Generate and share weekly production status reports
• Manage production budget, identify cost-saving opportunities, and review invoices
• Ensure all compliance standards, ethical guidelines, and environmental regulations are met

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in apparel production and sourcing, ideally within a fast-paced retail or fashion brand environment
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional workflows
• Experience managing global factory relationships and large-volume production
• Proficiency in NetSuite (required) or similar ERP systems
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to engage and align with team members to drive results
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, mills, and garment construction
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Strong project management skills with meticulous attention to detail and deadlines
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs as needed
