Director of Treasury

Location: Pekin, Illinois (relocation assistance is available)

Industry: Insurance and Financial Services

Compensation: $155,000 – $190,000 annually + Bonus Eligibility

We’re seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Treasury to lead enterprise-wide liquidity management, optimize cash flow, and strengthen financial operations. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your contributions directly support organizational resilience and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily treasury operations and transactions
• Manage and mentor treasury team members
• Oversee liquidity strategy and short-term investment initiatives
• Maintain and enhance banking and investment manager relationships
• Collaborate with the CFO on investment portfolio oversight
• Forecast cash flow and prepare weekly reporting packages
• Negotiate banking services and fees
• Implement new technologies to streamline treasury operations
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and treasury policies

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• 5+ years in a leadership role
• Previous experience working in the Insurance or Financial Services industry

Preferred:

• Master’s degree or CFA designation
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or similar certification

Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong leadership and collaboration abilities
• Advanced financial analysis and forecasting skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and GAAP
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to drive change and improve processes
