Overview

J.R. Dunn Jewelers is seeking a detail-oriented, aesthetically driven E-commerce Photographer to join our in-house creative team. This role supports the Art Director in executing high-quality product photography, digital content creation, and maintaining the elevated visual presence of our website and social media platforms.

We are looking for someone with a strong sense of luxury aesthetics, deep attention to detail, and the ability to produce polished, visually compelling assets quickly and consistently. This person thrives in a fast-paced environment while ensuring all creative output reflects the sophistication of our brand.

Key Responsibilities

Product Photography & Styling

• Capture clean, consistent images of jewelry and luxury products on white backgrounds for e-commerce.
• Style, shoot, and deliver production-ready still life imagery with high attention to lighting, sharpness, and accuracy.
• Support the Art Director in flat lays, lifestyle shots, and seasonal campaign shoots.

Video & Social Content

• Create polished, short videos to highlight new product arrivals for IG Stories and social media—delivered on an ongoing, timely basis.
• Work closely with the Art Director to develop content concepts tailored for platforms like Instagram and Youtube.
• Assist Art Director on set with equipment, time keeping, shotlist management, and general production.
• Assist with editing and retouching all photo and video content to brand standards.

Website Content Management

• Assist in website product listings, including uploading images and ensuring listings are visually accurate.
• Collaborate on maintaining the visual appearance of the website, including planning and updating homepage banners and other key placements.
• Add new photo and video assets to the website in coordination with the marketing and e-commerce teams.
• Partner with the Marketing Manager to execute new product launches, campaign rollouts, and photoshoot releases.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product photography, preferably in jewelry or luxury e-commerce.
• Strong portfolio showcasing photography, video, styling, and editing skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, etc.).
• Experience with DSLR/mirrorless cameras and studio lighting setups.
• Strong organizational and file management skills for digital content.
• Ability to balance creative vision with fast turnaround times.
• Strong attention to detail and keen eye for aesthetics to maintain branding standard.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience working in e-commerce, luxury goods, or high-volume content environments.
• Solid understanding of UX/UI principles in visual merchandising.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., Shopify) is a plus.
• Experience as a photo or lighting assist on set is a plus.
• Understanding of typography and graphic design is a plus.
• Creative thinker with a collaborative attitude and proactive approach.
