Job Description

We’re looking for a highly motivated, experienced Events & Social Media Specialist to lead and elevate Netafim North America’s event presence and digital engagement. This is not just a support role — you will be the driving force behind strategic event planning and dynamic social media growth, owning every stage of execution and delivering measurable outcomes that support our business goals. Competitive compensation including eligibility for bonus incentive and comprehensive benefits package.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Think like a marketer, act like a project manager, and communicate like a storyteller.
  • Are energized by building exceptional experiences — in-person and online.
  • Work independently with minimal oversight and always bring proactive, strategic ideas to the table.

What We Value

  • A passion for agriculture, sustainability, and innovation.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset — someone who brings solutions, not problems.
  • Enthusiasm for building community — both in-person and online.
  • A roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and a collaborative spirit.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment but is equally comfortable taking initiative and owning projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Collaboration

  • Develop and own the annual event strategy and social media calendar in alignment with marketing and sales goals.
  • Identify new opportunities for engagement and visibility — from innovative digital campaigns to high-impact in-person events.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product management, creative, and leadership teams to ensure unified messaging and branding.

Event Planning & Execution

  • Lead planning, budgeting, logistics, and execution of all marketing events — including industry trade shows, webinars, customer workshops, and internal events.
  • Oversee vendor and venue management, registration systems, promotional materials, equipment shipping, and on-site logistics.
  • Partner with creative teams to produce event assets, booth displays, videos, and presentations that reflect our brand and value proposition.
  • Track performance, ROI, and attendee feedback post-event and implement continuous improvements.

Social Media & Digital Content

  • Develop and execute platform-specific strategies (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) to drive engagement and brand awareness.
  • Create compelling multimedia content (graphics, short-form video, photo, stories, reels) that showcases our products, people, and customers.
  • Monitor community activity and respond in a timely, brand-aligned manner to foster dialogue and relationships.
  • Track performance data across platforms, report monthly on metrics and trends, and recommend content optimizations based on insights.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in event planning, trade show management, or experiential marketing (B2B or agriculture/industrial sectors preferred).
  • 3+ years of hands-on social media management, with a proven track record of growing engagement and reach.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently from concept to completion with minimal oversight.
  • Strong grasp of brand voice, visual storytelling, and audience segmentation.
  • Skilled in project management tools (Monday.com), social media platforms, and design/video tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Sprout, Hootsuite).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Other Requirements

  • Occasional travel (up to 20%) for events and trade shows.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (event materials, signage, etc.). Assistance advisable as needed.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Based in Fresno, CA with a voluntary hybrid work schedule.
