The Media Arts Center is an avocational school in Charlotte dedicated to fostering creativity and preparing students for careers in media. The school provides practical, hands-on training in filmmaking, broadcasting, digital marketing, creative anomation, and business applications using AI. Programs are structured as 12-week sessions, with two 3-hour classes and two 3 hour lab blocks each week, allowing students to gain both theoretical and practical knowledge.
Role Description
This is a contract, on-site role for a Contract School Instructor (CSIs) with a specialty in Filmmaking, at The Media Arts Center's campus in Charlotte (Ballantyne) NC. Instructors teach creative and technical concepts, facilitate hands-on labs, and support students with coursework in their area of expertise. Additional responsibilities include following lesson plans, monitoring student progress, and maintaining a collaborative, inclusive classroom environment.
