YOUR ROLE

Are you a finance professional with a passion for accounting and internal controls? We are looking for a dedicated individual to become a key player in our finance community. You'll play a crucial role in monthly financial reviews, financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Establish and maintain accounting policies, leading practices and procedures to ensure IFRS compliance.
• Coordinate and lead the provision of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes reporting packages, assist with the corporate consolidation process. This includes quarterly and annual reporting packages.
• Assist the US Controller and North America VP of Finance with internal process improvements.
• Set up and manage Internal Controls. Resolve complex accounting issues.
• Coordinate and interface with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Work with the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations to identify issues within the balance sheet.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• At least five years of progressive experience in accounting/finance roles.

Preferred:

• CPA
• Worked with shared service center
• Dealt with external auditors
• Prior experience in freight forwarding or logistics

Skills:

• Accounting and financial reporting Microsoft suite
• JDE and Onestream experience preferred
• Must be able to communicate effectively with upper management and operations
