Role: Senior Product/Project Manager, AI Technology Firm: Hedge Fund $50 Billion AUM Location: Midtown, NYC 5x a week This is a new group, working with the latest AI technology. Description: Shape the usage of AI in existing workflows and influence the future of the investment management process from start to end Lead the AI program by creating roadmaps for development and business adoption Oversee strategy for AI initiatives and ensure they are aligned with the overall organization, while meeting regulatory and compliance standards Identify opportunities to apply AI Advocate for business stakeholders and translate their requirements into technical specifications Oversee communication across stakeholders for AI strategy and initiatives Develop and enforce best practices and standards for AI, ensuring architectural and data governance Manage budgets and consolidate requests as needed Manage and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors Maintain knowledge of latest AI technology Minimum Requirements: ~10+ years of experience in Product Management within an alternative investment manager ~ Significant experience working with Generative AI and LLM technology and/or Alternative Data within an investment management environment ~ Demonstrated ability to gain consensus/buy-in with senior leadership ~ High level of technical literacy, with the ability to work with engineers effectively ~ Proven ability to manage complex technology projects impacting multiple teams, while navigating an ambiguous environment ~ Experience with establishing and leading architectural governance and data governance frameworks ~ Knowledgeable with technology risk management ~ Innovative and results oriented ~ Collaborative mindset
