Duration:: 3+ months

Location: 2000 Church Street, Nashville, TN 37236

Shift: 3rd Shift | 3:00 AM – 11:30 AM | Tuesday–Saturday

Interview Mode : In person preferred. Video conference with camera on.

Pay Rate: $38/hr.

Position Summary

The Histotechnologist is responsible for performing complex medical laboratory tests to support the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. This role ensures high-quality laboratory practices through accurate testing, supervision, and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review laboratory findings to ensure accuracy and reliability of results
• Supervise clinical studies and research-related laboratory projects
• Instruct staff on the operation, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment, including spectrophotometers, calorimeters, flame photometers, and computer-controlled analyzers
• Develop, standardize, evaluate, and modify laboratory procedures, techniques, and tests
• Establish and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain accuracy and compliance
• Supervise, train, and mentor laboratory assistants, technicians, and technologists
• Ensure proper documentation and accurate recording of laboratory data and results

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field (required)
• 5–7 years of relevant laboratory experience (required)
