Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join an established company based in the Bay Area.

About the Role

This role is responsible for supporting various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management. The ideal candidate is a people-first detail oriented who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Administer day-to-day HR operations and provide support to employees and managers.
  • Assist in recruitment efforts including job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Manage benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee inquiries related to health, dental, vision, 401(k), and other benefit programs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits vendors and assist in annual open enrollment processes.
  • Coordinate and support performance review processes and employee development initiatives.
  • Handle employee relations with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.

Do you have the following experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR role - open to HR Administrator titles
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems a plus
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
