Job Description

Grand Light of Seymour is an experienced restorer of historic lighting fixtures and a manufacturer of custom lighting fixtures. Our lighting restoration capabilities include research for historic accuracy, drawings, metal fabrication, welding, polishing, painting, abrasive blasting, refinishing metal components, glass fabrication, replacing all electrical components, rewiring, and testing in accordance with UL standards.

Job Description:

The Internet Marketing/Proposal Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the company’s online marketing initiatives and proposal management process. This dynamic role combines digital marketing, content creation, and proposal coordination. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks while supporting key marketing efforts and assisting with the preparation and submission of high-quality proposals.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Develop, maintain, and update client submittals, project sheets, technical drawings, and other related documentation.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across all client communications and internal project files.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement improvements and ensure the website stays current with industry trends.
  • Update and refine product listings, descriptions, and images on GrandLight.com to reflect new products and offerings.
  • Develop engaging content, post regularly, and interact with followers to build brand awareness and customer loyalty.
  • Help maintain and grow Grand Light’s social media presence on platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
  • Optimize website analytics and improve SEO rankings to increase visibility in top search engines.
  • Assist with pay-for-placement campaigns (e.g., Google Ads) to drive traffic and maximize ROI.
  • Assist in the creation of email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and other digital communications to keep clients and prospects informed.
  • Contribute to the development of blogs, videos, and other multimedia content to support marketing initiatives.
  • Support the development of marketing materials including brochures, flyers, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on various projects to ensure brand consistency and effective messaging.

Qualifications/Skills:

Education & Experience

  • Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Graphic Design, or a related degree (or equivalent work experience) preferred.
  • Prior experience or coursework in digital marketing, web development, or social media management is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Excel preferred.
  • Familiarity with WordPress is highly desirable (training provided if willing to learn).
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and SEO best practices.

Soft Skills

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and a quick learner.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
