We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate to join our Investment Banking Team located in Washington, DC.
The successful candidate will become a key player in the execution of the firm’s investment banking business. Using your related experience, you will assist senior bankers and will work on multiple projects and transactions at any given time. Associates are exposed to all aspects of sourcing and executing transactions within a fast-growing investment banking practice.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Prepare detailed financial analysis around existing banking clients, peers and target companies
· Create corporate presentations to assist in securing banking engagements
· Build financial statements and valuation models for capital market transactions
· Assist with the execution of transactions by performing due diligence and preparing document preparation
· Serve as liaison between internal and external counterparties
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
· Strong financial modeling skills and experience analyzing financial statements
· A minimum of 3-5 years of prior experience in an investment banking role
· Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in finance, business, or a related field
· Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis with a proven proficiency with PowerPoint & Excel
· Effective verbal and written communication skills
· FINRA SIE, Series 7 and/or 79 licenses
