Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our school-based mental health team. This role will support students in grades K–12 by providing direct counseling, group therapy, and family support services, while working closely with school staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

• Title: School-Based Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LMFT)
• Location: Moreno Valley, CA
• Grade Level: K-12

• Schedule: 8am-4pm
• Days Per Week: 5 days/week
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Compensation: $ 60 per /hr.
• Estimated Annual Salary: $ 98,4000

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to students.
• Implement universal supports to promote resilience, social-emotional learning, and positive school climates.
• Identify students experiencing emotional distress and provide early intervention services.
• Support students by listening, helping de-escalate, and connecting them with appropriate mental health resources.
• Refer students to school-based and community-based services, crisis hotlines, and other supports as needed.
• Support suicide prevention and post-vention policies in accordance with school guidelines.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and community partners to increase access to sustainable and culturally competent mental health services.

Qualifications:

• Required: Active LCSW license in California (will consider LMFT candidates).
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a school or community-based setting.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and crisis intervention skills.
• Commitment to culturally competent and developmentally appropriate practices.
