Job Description

About RISE Commercial District:

At RISE Commercial District, we’re on a mission to redefine what businesses need from their space. We offer flexible, reliable, and professional small warehouse solutions that help entrepreneurs, startups, and established companies thrive. Our brand is built on trust, transparency, and support. We’re not just offering space — we’re offering growth potential.

We’re looking for a passionate Content Marketing Specialist with multiple years of experience who can bring our brand to life through powerful, engaging content. Additionally, this is a creative's dream. This role will support three unique brands. Giving you the opportunity to flex your creative strengths, work on unique projects, and never feel stuck in one lane. If you can think strategically, evaluate the bigger picture, and create compelling blog posts, emails, and campaign materials that reflect our professional yet approachable voice, you might be the perfect fit for our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write Weekly Blog Posts for 3 distinct brands, staying on-brand, SEO-optimized, and valuable for our target audience.
  • Create Weekly Email Content for 3 brands, from newsletters to nurturing emails, ensuring clear, actionable messaging that aligns with our brand voice.
  • Develop Content for Campaigns, including postcards, landing pages, and event materials, making sure each piece connects with our audience and drives engagement.
  • Assist with Podcast Guest Management by helping with outreach and planning. Contribute to the podcast's content creation process and ensure we’re showcasing thought leaders who fit our brand.
  • Write Press Releases and other content for press, focusing on delivering clear, direct, and newsworthy information.
  • Review and Edit Outsourced Content from vendors to ensure consistency with our tone, style, and messaging.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a content writer, with at least 2 years of professional writing experience.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to adapt to different tones, styles, and formats.
  • Experience with SEO best practices and how to incorporate them naturally into blog posts and other content. With an appetite to expand your knowledge as the shift continues from traditional SEO to Search Everywhere Optimization (Gen AI, Social, etc.)
  • A knack for turning complex topics into engaging, easily digestible content.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once, balancing creativity with deadlines.
  • Comfort working collaboratively with other team members, including podcast producers and marketing teams.
  • A proactive mindset — you take ownership of your work and continually look for ways to improve.

Ideal Candidate:

You’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves storytelling, and understands how content can drive business results. You get excited about creating content that speaks to business owners and entrepreneurs. You have a knack for understanding what our audience needs and can craft content that speaks directly to them, whether it’s a blog post, an email, or a campaign. You’re a team player, but you can also take the lead on projects and work independently.

Why RISE Commercial District?

We’re a fast-growing company that puts people first — both our customers and our team. When you join us, you’re joining a community that supports your growth and development. If you’re looking for a role where you can make an impact and work with a team that values creativity, transparency, and results, we want to hear from you.

How to Apply:

Please submit your resume, writing samples (including blog posts and emails), and a brief cover letter that tells us why you’re excited about the opportunity to join RISE Commercial District. Let us know how you can contribute to the growth of our brand and make an impact.
