Driscoll Children’s Hospital is seeking a Medical Director of Pediatric Hospital Medicine to lead our talented team of hospitalists at our flagship, freestanding children’s hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. 👩‍⚕️ About the Role:

As Medical Director, you’ll oversee clinical operations for a growing hospitalist division. You’ll lead a team of dedicated pediatric hospitalists, work closely with our pediatric residency program, and collaborate with over 30 subspecialties and surgical departments. This position offers both leadership and hands-on care, with responsibilities including:

• Providing inpatient care across general pediatrics and intermediate care units
• Leading consult services and occasional clinic coverage
• Teaching and mentoring pediatric residents
• Developing departmental protocols and quality initiatives
• Managing physician scheduling and supporting a culture of excellence

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Board Certification in Pediatrics (Required)
• Minimum 5 years of Pediatric Hospital Medicine experience
• Pediatric Hospital Medicine subspecialty certification (Preferred)
• Eligible for an unrestricted Texas medical license
