SUMMARY: Responsible for sales performance and management of outside sales force for Team Sports Division. Acts as advisor to CSR team on customer management, and supports fluidity between Pukka’s sales team, customer base, and Customer Service Department. The National Sales Manager is responsible for traveling with sales team when appropriate, attending all major tradeshows, and assisting the sales team in presenting to key accounts. Additional responsibilities include providing leading market intelligence, information on competition, forecasting market size, projecting annual sales, management of annual sales contests, individual sales goals, hiring and training of new/replacement sales reps, management of in-house key account manager, participation in development of seasonal sample lines, collaboration with marketing department on marketing projects/catalog development, communicating regularly with President on opportunities, challenges and strategies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Achieve sales targets, maintain/improve product margins, improve customer relationships, communicate constantly with senior management, improve competitive advantages, reduce inefficiencies in budgetary spending, and maximizing application of Pukka’s quick turn program.
2.Will engage in a variety of tasks including staff training and management, strategic planning, relationship management, negotiation, and development of innovative business development projects.
3.Interact regularly and proactively with assigned customer base, and all departments within Pukka to understand our customers businesses to ensure their needs are met.
4.Regularly communicate with Customer Service Team, Marketing Director, Key Account Manager, and senior leadership team.
5.Thoroughly understand fundamentals of Bulk manufacturing, and Pukka’s custom quick turn program.
6.Maintain the company's existing relationship and identify potential new clients and business opportunities.
7.Motivate customers to use and find additional value within Pukka. Maximize and expand customers’ use of Pukka’s services by monitoring customer strategies and buying trends.
8.Responsible for understanding product and marketplace trends to develop a plan of action for continued business growth.
9.Attend conferences and trade shows, read trade magazines, follow pop culture, and use other tools to find out what kinds of products people are likely to buy and may demand in the future.
10.Foster an environment that promotes personal development of team members and high morale throughout Pukka and Account Management.

5.Minimum Bachelors Degree.6.5 + years of experience working in sales/sales management positions in team sporting goods.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Regular travel and frequent abnormal work hours.
