Regional Patient Access Director

Location: Working locations - 100% onsite but can sit out of acquired hospitals in Aurora, Chicago, Des Plaines, Elgin, Evanston, Kankakee, or Joliet. Travel within the region may be required based on business need.

We’re seeking a strategic leader and project champion to drive patient access initiatives that improve efficiency, compliance, and the overall patient experience. As the Regional Patient Access Director , you’ll lead cross-functional teams, implement best practices, and ensure seamless operations across patient access departments.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Projects: Oversee the implementation of patient access processes, protocols, and systems to meet business objectives.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with interdisciplinary groups to achieve project milestones and performance goals.
• Drive Operational Excellence: Standardize workflows, improve revenue cycle processes, and enhance patient satisfaction.
• Monitor & Report: Track progress, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver results that matter.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–6 years in Patient Access or Business Office operations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management experience.
• PMP or Revenue Cycle Certification.
