Job Title: Patient Care Associate

Location: New York, NY 10019

Contract Duration: 9 Weeks

Shift: 5x7.50 (37.50 hours)

EVENING SHIFT - 3 PM- 11:15PM

REQUIRED TO FLOAT TO ALL MED SURG UNITS

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Good judgment, problem-solving ability, and flexibility in fast-paced clinical settings.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing patient needs.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills in English.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform required clinical tasks.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Patient Care Associate Orientation Program (hospital-based).
• Three to nine months of healthcare experience preferred.
• AHA HeartSaver or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
