Job Title: - Pharmacy Technician
Location: Morrisville, NC
Duration: - 3+ months (Possibility to Extend)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; every other weekend (with a weekday off)
Pay Range: - $22-$24
About the Role: -
The Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacy operations by preparing and processing prescription orders for long-term care (LTC) facilities. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of medications while maintaining inventory and collaborating with team members to keep workflows efficient.
Key Responsibilities: -
Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate medications from inventory.
Apply labels to medication packaging, scan, and assemble into bins accurately and promptly.
Communicate inventory needs and assist in maintaining appropriate stock levels, including removing expired medications and organizing inventory.
Consistently meet established accuracy and productivity standards.
Collaborate with supervisors and other functional areas to maintain smooth workflow.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation; replenish stock supplies as needed.
Comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to prescription dispensing.
Perform other essential duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: -
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in North Carolina (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
