Pride Health is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Eastland, TX 76448. This is a 13-week contract with potential for extension . Open for local and travel candidates!
Job Responsibilities:
· Administer physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
· Provide non-complex therapeutic exercises, massage, traction, heat, cold, water, and electrical modalities.
· Accurately document patient status and submit all clinical paperwork in a timely manner.
· Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapy goals and progress.
· Apply infection control and universal precaution standards during all patient care activities.
· Monitor and report equipment issues, supply needs, or changes in patient condition to supervising staff.
· Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
· Participate in department in-services, staff meetings, and continuing education.
· Manage scheduling and perform occasional office-related tasks.
· Maintain compliance with payer requirements and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications:
· Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy.
· Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
· Current CPR/BLS certification.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
· Home Health experience and familiarity with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) preferred.
· Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance
Additional Information:
· Location: Eastland, TX 76448
· Float required between Albany, Brownwood, and Abilene.
· Expected Weekly Productivity: 30 units.
· Schedule: 8:00am – 4:30pm
· Contract Length: 13 weeks
· Gross weekly: $1,886 (Must live 50 miles away!)
· W2 hourly (Taxable): $16
· Stipend hourly (Non - Taxable): $31.15= ($19.25 + $11.90)
· Local pay - $30 - $36/hour
Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
