The Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES is seeking applicants for a Registered Professional Nurse to provide 1:1 Nursing for a medically fragile student. This is a 10-month position, following the school calendar. The applicants must have graduated from a school of nursing approved by the NYS Education Department, and must be eligible for a license issued by NYS to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse.
The School Nurse performs professional nursing services in the maintenance of acceptable health standards, school health records, and the emergency treatment of student health problems; and does related work as required. This is a professional nursing position involving responsibility for giving 1:1 care to a medically fragile student, typically.
