Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Care Facility
Location: Redding, CA
Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional nights, weekends, or on-call as needed)
Pay: $45-$55/hr based on experience including full benefits package
The Registered Nurses duties to include but may not be limited to:
- Supervise and provide direct, hands-on care to pediatric clients, including feeding, transfers, and mobility support.
- Develop, update, and maintain individualized Plans of Care and required documentation (MARs, flow sheets, assessments).
- Administer medications and perform daily clinical assessments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (OT, PT, physicians, and therapists) to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
- Train, supervise, and support Personal Care Attendants and other team members.
- Communicate effectively with families regarding care plans, updates, and appointments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive care environment for all clients.
- Participate in staff training, quality improvement, and facility operations as needed.
Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License (Required)
- Associate degree or higher in Nursing (Required)
- Experience in pediatric or special needs care preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification required
