Job Description

A leading global enterprise is looking for a seasoned Senior Financial Analyst to take charge of daily oversight and strategic control of both operating and capital expenditures. This key role ensures the precision of planning, reporting, and performance analysis across operations

.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver insightful financial reporting and analysis focused on major O&M and capital cost trends. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and optimize spending. Provide financial insight to operational decisions and lead the preparation of monthly close summaries, executive-level financial reports, quarterly updates, and strategic presentations. (25%)
  • Oversee all aspects of the monthly financial close process, from pre-close checks to final reporting for both corporate and site leadership. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. Generate routine performance reports covering cost categories like contracted labor and overtime. (20%)
  • Take ownership of developing the organization’s long-term financial forecast, aligning it with strategic goals and operational priorities. (15%)
  • Evaluate and process capital expenditure and project funding requests. Track project budgets and deliver timely updates on financial progress. (10%)
  • Lead cost tracking and variance analysis efforts, ensuring accurate planning and ongoing visibility into budget alignment. (10%)
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and create custom reports to support leadership decision-making. (10%)
  • Partner with the Finance Manager to mentor junior analysts, providing support and quality oversight of their work. Lead complex projects and respond to senior management’s special requests. (10%)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • At least 4 years of experience in financial planning & analysis within a large organization, or a background in public accounting
