Job Description

Senior Hardware Technician – Space Hardware

Location: Denver, CO

Contract: 28 Weeks, 40 Hours/Week, Onsite

Looking for a Senior Hardware Technician for a leading space company in Denver and join their production team on a fixed-term contract. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role supporting the manufacturing, testing, and quality assurance of cutting-edge space systems.

This is a contract-only position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineering team to support the full production cycle, from design release to completed and tested product.
  • Assist with local inventory management to ensure smooth workflow and material availability.
  • Create and maintain documentation and procedures related to the manufacturing and testing processes.
  • Work closely with the Quality team to uphold manufacturing standards and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
  • Execute a range of technician-level production tasks, including:
  • Receiving inspection of PCBs, PCBAs, mechanical components, and harnesses
  • Soldering and rework (fine-pitch soldering, hot air rework, standard soldering tools)
  • Electrical testing and checkout of PCBA assemblies
  • Electro-mechanical assembly based on ARENA builds
  • Wire harness and cable assembly for development and lab builds
  • General lab and workstation housekeeping

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly, PCB rework, and soldering
  • Comfortable operating in a lab or production environment with strict quality controls
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures precisely
  • Experience with high-reliability or aerospace-grade hardware preferred
