Summary

Join Little Leaders Academy as a Toddler Teacher for 1s & 2s. You’ll build warm, predictable routines, deliver play-based learning (sensory, language, early motor), and partner closely with families. Expect hands-on care (diapering, feeding, napping), positive guidance, and daily communication.

Duties

• Plan developmentally appropriate experiences for 12–36 months (sensory play, music/movement, language, early math, outdoor gross-motor).
• Maintain safe, nurturing routines: diapering/toileting readiness, handwashing, meal/snack setup, and safe sleep/naptime practices.
• Use positive guidance that supports emotional regulation and social skills (sharing, turn-taking).
• Observe & document milestones; share daily notes/photos and monthly progress with families.
• Keep the classroom clean, organized, and compliant with state health/safety standards (sanitizing, labeling, documentation).
• Collaborate with teammates; complete required training and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• CDA, TCC, or ECE coursework/degree (or actively pursuing).
• 1+ year center-based experience with toddlers (1–2 years).
• Skill in family communication and teamwork; calm, patient, reliable.
• CPR/First Aid (or ability to obtain promptly) and ability to meet background check requirements.
• Able to lift/carry toddlers and bend/kneel for caregiving tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education.
• Experience with toileting readiness , toddler lesson planning, or documentation apps.
• Bilingual abilities.
