Trinity partners with the most recognized Biotech companies in the world in search of Safety, Health and Environmental talent. Trinity is the employer for this role based at an exciting Biotech research site. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced junior or mid level EHS professional interested in career development in areas of Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, Sustainability, Croygenics and Biosafety. You will report directly to Trinity with a dotted line to the pharmaceutical research site's EHS Leadership Team. This is a project-based contract position in the greater Boston area with and established research site at a state medical school. The duration of the role is based on the duration of the project, extended in six-month increments. The position will require commuting to multiple Boston area sites. Only local candidates will be considered.
The Environmental Health Safety and Environmental Group (EHS) is responsible for implementing programs and policies that comply with all local, state, and federal EHS rules and regulations and continuously strive to reduce the incidence and severity of occupational injury and illness. The EHS department promotes a safe and environmentally friendly work environment through the integration of value-added EHS programs, policies, and services.
POSITION OVERVIEW/KEY RESPONSIBILTIES*:
The EHS Specialist is responsible for interfacing with all levels of the organization to ensure necessary and sustainable H&S systems, programs, procedures, training, work practices, and controls are developed and implemented to maintain compliance with applicable H&S regulations and address identified risks.
