Thompson Hine LLP, an Am Law 200 firm, is seeking two (2) full-time (37.5 hours/week) Administrative Specialists (Legal Assistants) to join our Cleveland, Ohio office. These roles are part of a support team in our Firmwide Administrative Support Center.
This team is responsible for providing high-value support to attorneys and professional staff across all Thompson Hine offices. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing, proofreading, editing, and formatting correspondence and legal documents; time entry; expense reporting; processing new business requests; travel arrangements; data entry; running document comparisons; generating tables of contents and tables of authorities; and working closely with other staff and departments as necessary.
This position requires advanced interpersonal skills that include the ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships while working in a close team environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and time-management skills, the ability to work proactively and independently, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities with ease. This position requires the employee to work on-site at the Cleveland office on a schedule determined by the Manager for the benefit of the department and Firm. The hours for this position are either 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. ET or 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday.
This position is eligible to participate in a hybrid (remote/in-office) schedule upon successful completion of at least a 90-day training period.
