Job Title: Medical Billing Specialist

About Us:
Achieve MD is a growing, patient-focused medical practice dedicated to providing high-quality care. We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to manage insurance claims, payment posting, and accounts receivable.
Responsibilities:
· Submit and track insurance claims (electronic & paper)
· Work rejections and denials; file appeals
· Verify patient insurance benefits
· Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile patient accounts
· Maintain AR aging and follow up on unpaid claims
· Communicate with patients about billing questions
· Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation
Qualifications:
· 1–2 years medical billing or revenue cycle experience required
· Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS
· Experience with EHR/Practice Management systems
· Familiarity with clearinghouses (Availity, Office Ally, Change Healthcare)
· Strong attention to detail and communication skills
· Certification (CPB, CPC, CMRS) preferred but not required
