Job Description

Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is seeking an experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse, RN, with Acute Care experience to work for our client a Certified Home Healthcare agency located in NY. Visit area for patient visits is in Brooklyn, NY. The agency offers opportunity for professional growth in a friendly and supportive work setting. Qualified candidates will have prior Acute Care Pediatric Nursing experience within Acute Care, PICU, Pediatric Hospital, Homecare or other Healthcare setting. Full Time RN Visit averages 5 patients per day, Monday - Friday.

Pediatric - Registered Nurse - RN Home Healthcare

• The Pediatric RN completes field visits to Pediatric patients and ensures accurate clinical documentation.
• Adheres to NYS DOH and CMS guidelines.
• Provides clinical support and guidance to Pediatric patients and families
• Collaborates with Providers, Clients, Caregivers, Vendors and ensures safe/effective Care Plans are established.
• Promotes Quality and Service Excellence at all times.

Pediatric RN Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse in New York State Required
• Recent experience working for Pediatrics within Acute Care, Hospital or Certified Home Health Agency in New York State
• Experience in Pediatrics, preferred
• Knowledgeable regarding Medicare Guidelines and regulations
• Ability to work in a Team setting.
• Previous CHHA experience - Coordination of Care, Patient Service Manager, Clinical Manager experience a plus
• Strong written and oral communication skills needed.
• Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Record/Home Care Home Base a plus!
