Job Description

RN/LPN Telephone Triage Nurse - In Office At Jeffers, Mann and Artman Pediatric (JMA) our mission is to provide excellent medical care in a caring, family-centered environment and assist families in building happy, healthy children. This telephone triage nurse position is an In-Office position at our Clayton location. As a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are a valued resource for our clinical team of providers and support staff. You will provide guidance and leadership to assure our patients receive the best quality care using evidence based guidelines. Essential Duties for a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Telephone triage advice Prescription Refill request Web Nurse Messages Processing and returning phone calls to patients per provider request Collaborate with specialist, hospitals and other external entities to coordinate patient care Opportunities to expand expertise as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Coordination of specialty programs - Behavioral Health, Asthma, Population Management, and Vaccine Management Leadership opportunity as site leads and trainers Practice wide committee involvement Qualifications *Valid RN or LPN license in the state of North Carolina *Proficient in patient assessment and care *Knowledge of EHR systems and HIPAA regulations *Basic life support certification required *Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse patient populations Benefits Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability insurance, PTO, 401(k) matching, referral program, flexible schedule. __________________________________________________________________ JMA Pediatrics conducts criminal background checks on all applicants prior to hire.
