Required Skills:
· 5+ years of experience with RF communication systems
· 3+ years’ experience of tactical network systems engineering experience
· Knowledge of Line of Sight, Beyond Line-of-Sight systems
· Ability to interact with a technical audience on technical problems
· Secret clearance required
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Testing, or a related field.
Insight Global is seeking an RF Systems Engineer to contribute to the development of a Line-of-Sight (LOS) and Beyond Line-of-Sight (BLOS) transmission system, managing its full life cycle from requirements definition through deployment and retirement. This role supports research and development initiatives focused on modeling and simulation, requiring expertise in secure long-range communication and navigation technologies within the defense industry. A strong emphasis is placed on risk management, process optimization, and stakeholder collaboration. Ideal candidates will have deep knowledge of RF signal processing, spectrum utilization, and waveform development, with experience using channel simulators and RF modeling tools to enhance system performance and validate real-world conditions. The ability to operate independently while contributing to a highly collaborative team is essential.
Pay: $45-75/hr
